Jaime Jones Class

I was fortunate to be accepted for a ten week class with Jaime Jones at the Concept Design Academy in Pasadena. Here's some of the rough studies I did during the class based on Clive Barker's Abarat novels. Ultimately, I ended up going in a completely different direction. But I'm still wrapping up my final project. Jaime was an excellent teacher that really got me thinking about new ways to approach painting.

    This is really awesome work, I love Abarat and I hope you`re thinking about more future Abarat paintings. Especially Mater Motley or Candy Quackenbush herself. :-)
